Abstract

CANEZIN, Paulo Franklin Moraes  and  ALMEIDA, Thiago de. The jealousy and the social networks: a systematic review. Pensando fam. [online]. 2015, vol.19, n.1, pp. 142-155. ISSN 1679-494X.

The social networks and interpersonal relationships mediated for Internet are increasingly present in everyday life. Faced with such accession of our population to social networks, we can not imagine our lives without them. Alongside this, the romantic jealousy, which is activated against a real or imagined threat of the loss of a relationship or the loss of partnership, is a situation that probably we will face a greater or lesser degree in some moment of our lives. This article aims to review the literature that discusses the relationship between these two phenomena and discuss how the experiences on the internet can have negative implications for romantic relationships and how behaviors in the network can serve as a stimulus for the disagreements between couples.

Keywords : Love, Jealousy; Loving relationships; Social networks.
