Abstract

TISSOT, Daiane Wiltgen  and  FALCKE, Denise. Structure and functioning’s dynamics of origin’s families of a couple with pregnancy in adolescence. Pensando fam. [online]. 2019, vol.23, n.2, pp. 58-74. ISSN 1679-494X.

The study of family dynamics involved in teenage pregnancy is still scarce in Brazil, despite the many and varied work on the phenomenon. Thus, the purpose of this study was to investigate, systemically, the functioning’s structure and dynamics of the origin’s families of a couple who experienced two pregnancies during adolescence. The single case study had three stages of data collect through a Sociodemographic Questionnaire, Genetogram, Semi-Structured Interview and Structured Family Interview (EFE). The main results of thematic analysis and data triangulation were borderline pathologies, with dysfunctional communication and expression of affection, emotional triangulation in the face of intrafamily violence and chemical dependence, and positive changes in family functioning after the incidence of the first gestation. It was concluded that the pregnancies represented milestones for the beginning of family evolutions, showing the indispensability of preventive interventions that allow other access routes to the health of the family system.
