The concept of paternity has been modified in recent decades. The aim of this study was to understand and analyze the development of paternity in adolescence, as well as family relationships engendered in this process. For data collection, two adolescents fathers participated in the research, and the following instruments were applied during prenatal care: socioeconomic profile characterization form and social production and reproduction; semi-structured interviews and; Family drawing with story. It was observed that the fathers declared themselves brown and black, have low family income, different levels of education, were in stable relationship with teenage mothers and reported that the support of families during pregnancy was very important. Fathers demonstrated changes in marital relationship during pregnancy, participation in choosing baby names and constitution of imaginary baby. It concludes the importance of family relationships at the time of pregnancy and the relationship with one's own father for the development of paternity in adolescence.
