The objective of this research was to understand the possibilities of using the Social Network Map in social and psychological care offered at a Social Assistance Reference Center. Maps of eight users of this service were constructed and analyzed as a multiple case study from systemic and constructionist theorists. The construction of the Map allowed to generate significant information about the users' support sources, to identify situations of violence inside and outside the family, to discuss the consequences of territory migration to the families, to analyze the effects of the positioning of CRAS professionals and the public health network on life of these people and analyze in which areas of the person's life the support has been more effective and where it could be expanded. The construction of the Map can serve to plan interventions focused on what the basic social care policy provides, a preventive action and in favor of strengthening bonds among families and community.
