Abstract

Family and territory are fundamental for the effectiveness of actions and services regarding to social public policies. How to train sensitive professionals for this work? This article reports the experience of Intervision as a professional training strategy to work with families and communities. This pedagogical strategy adjusts to latu sensu training spaces, but also to permanent and in-service education contexts. Intervision is a device that enables to develop central points to social work: exploring the potential of looking, reflective, thinking, and expressing capacities. The article initially reviews theoretical and conceptual aspects, following reporting our training experience in a specialization course, from 2018 to 2020, highlighting four analytical axes: ethics of affection, the power of writing, triggers and construction of knowledge.
