Abstract

The main objective of this work is to carry out a revision of the scientific literature centered on the relationship between the type-1 diabetes and the depression. The material for the study was obtained from the databases PsycInfo, Psycodoc and CSIC as well as from American Diabetes Association files. In this bibliometrical study it was analyzed the more important indexes of productivity and the contents, which it can obtain interesting information on the current lines of investigation. One important conclusion reached was that there is a patent connection between the diabetes and the depression but the circumstances and direction of this link at this moment are not sufficiently clear.
