Abstract

Nausea and vomiting are common symptoms of pregnancy. However, the review of the literature refers to research that were achieved delimit variables that could contribute to the delineation of a psychological profile of a pregnant woman with nauseas and vomiting. Therefore the objective of this work was to examine whether existing data on the psychological profile of the pregnant woman, still in force in its contents and whether they are capable of implementation at present in a sample of pregnant Institute of Maternal and Perinatal of Lima (n = 265). We found validity and relevance of the psychological profile of the pregnant woman developed since it was also found in our study population.
