Abstract

LIMA, Maria Valéria Pelosi Hossepian Salles. Russian icons illustrating the mother/baby relationship: clinical unfolding. Vínculo [online]. 2004, vol.1, n.1, pp. 37-45. ISSN 1806-2490.

A visit to the “500 YEARS OF RUSSIAN ART” show initially resulted in a chronic and afterwards in a reflection about the mother/baby relationship from the observation of these two cultural objects: the icons and the chronic. In this peace of work, these objects will be taken as illustration of a relationship that is at the bases of the children’s development theory, as per Winnicott, and its unfolding is clinically presented. The perception of this phenomenon under this point of view will determine the therapeutic posture.

Keywords : Russian Art; Mother/baby Relationship; Theory and technique.
