The author will present a group work, performed with relatives of children with diagnosis of global development desorder, in a CAPSi in the city of São Paulo. Its proposal includes attention to the child, actions directed towards the relatives and is commited to the development of social insertion projects. The author will make a brief characterization of the CAPSi; after that, will present a clinical illustration of a group session and then, will make comments on the subject of the sessions and group dynamics using psychoanalytical group psychotherapy theoretical references, considering the institucional context
