SEMINOTTI, Nedio  y  CARDOSO, Cassandra. Bond configuration in small groups improving the potential and/or limiting group processes. Vínculo [online]. 2007, vol.4, n.4, pp. 26-37. ISSN 1806-2490.

This article considers subjects feelings of belonging to a small group from the perspective of bond configurations as processes organizers. The participants are organized by the group coordinator/therapist, other participants, the institution and culture. Since those are abstract processes, they can only be observed, described and analyzed when expressed through participants’ ideas or words. Hence the group coordinator/therapist, who is also a participant, has a greater power over group structure and a higher knowledge about theorical concepts, he is the one whose speech influences the most processes visibility. The participants generate psychological processes and at the same time, autonomously, they construct techniques that enable the processes to be named and communication among themselves. Processes organization is vital for the group and objectives achievement. The way participants interact, and how they feel they belong in the group, contribute to the potential improvement or limitation to group processes and participants.
