This text reflects about the construction of the mature adult identity added in a social imaginary inside the complexity of the human being on the biopsychosocial and environmentalconception. It’s described the fear of getting fat phenomenon, so common among the people as the expression of the result of a set of factors and not only the weight on the balance. Emphasizingthe need of a global understanding of the person involved with a disorder and not only isolated parts.
