Abstract

FERIOTTI, Maria de Lourdes. Multiprofessional team, transdisciplinarity and health: challenges of our time. Vínculo [online]. 2009, vol.6, n.2, pp. 179-190. ISSN 1806-2490.

The scientific discoveries of the beginning of the century XX and the demands of the humanity in the process of globalization are requesting deep transformations of the traditional forms of approach of the knowledge, of the nature and of the social relations, characterizing the historical current moment like a period of paradigmatic transition. The interdisciplinarity and the transdisciplinarity have been pointed like possible exits for the confrontation of this question, as soon as they look to re-define not only the ways of production of the knowledge, as also of the social organization. The conception of health of the SUS (Unique Health System - Brazil), supported on the principle of the integrality, is permeated by the new scientific and cultural paradigms, having in mind the development of strategies that board the complexity inherent to health. This work intends to emphasize the importance of the multiprofessional teams for the execution of this project of health, developing a reflection philosophical-ethical about the objective and subjective obstacles, for the exercise of the practice transdisciplinar in the daily life of the institutions of the health.

Keywords : Transdisciplinarity; Multiprofessional teams; Integrality; Paradigm.
