The Orientation of Parents is a playing field at the crossroads of different disciplines. Given this multi and interdisciplinary character, here is given a presentation focusing on some theoretical considerations and practices, that permeate the dialogue on the interdisciplinary training of a mentor to parents. Such dialogue takes place both with himself as well as between different professionals, and permeates the interventions in the Orientation of Parents. It is thus evident the complexity and relevance of the professional formation focused here.
