Abstract

FURLAN, Valquíria  and  RIBEIRO, Sandra Fogaça Rosa. The psychoterapist's listening in a group with people suffering from mental disorder treated at Center of Psychosocial Attention. Vínculo [online]. 2011, vol.8, n.1, pp. 22-29. ISSN 1806-2490.

The Brazilian psychiatric reform aims to de-institutionalization of madness and integration of people with mental disorders in society. In this context, the Centers for Psychosocial Care (CAPS) appear as a device of mental health care, making room for the anguish, pain and the listening of the people suffering, considering the uniqueness of individuals in mental health institutions. This research aims to do a literature review of scientific papers, using the Scielo database, on hearing the group therapist at CAPS, between 2004 and 2008. Hearing in therapeutic groups is set from the psychoanalytic theoretical framework, providing the group members the manifestation of their conscious and unconscious, verbal and nonverbal aspects. It presents as a result the importance of the psychologist to act in an innovative and creative every meeting with your group, without abandoning theoretical and methodological aspects of their activities.
