The article tries to focus some impasses in working with groups in psychoanalytic practice from a reflection on the effects of imagery in the device group, and based on the Freudian concept of collective identification. The directions for the rest on the assumptions discussed theoretical proposition "Group Mind". Since these theoretical propositions can only be sustained as a phenomenon apprehended in the management of transference and counter transference, these phenomena will also be considered. Jurandir Freire Costa, from his book Psychoanalysis and cultural context - imaginary psychoanalytic groups and psychotherapy is the author trigger a debate with other authors on management in the psychoanalytic group.
