Abstract

ROJAS, María Cristina. Couples today: conflicts and diversity. Vínculo [online]. 2013, vol.10, n.2, pp. 30-34. ISSN 1806-2490.

This article proposes some themes in relation to couples today, whose bonds, marked by diversity and singularity in the contracts, are complicated by the logic of the neoliberal market. It proposes bonding clinical practices which have as one of the starting points the questioning of such logic, which tend to interpret another human as menaceable and disposable. An usual field in this clinic is open from the consultation linked to divorce and its aftermath, some of those characteristics are exposed briefly. It relates a solipsistic concept of freedom with power and domination games within the bonds. It also emphasizes the need for belonging and mutual recognition coexistent with the requirements of autonomy singularity in significative bonding. At last, it analyses the different dimensions which appear in the couple's bond, linked among other questions to the trend in the fusion and imposition of the other.

Keywords : diversity; love; domination.
