In this article are discussed the possible harmful implications of the programs promoted by judiciary public institutions in observance of the legal dictates that require completing the father’s name on the birth certificate of the child or adolescent's certificate of birth that don't have his or her's recognized father's name. It's a theoretical reflection grounded in psychoanalytic reading and in informations obtained from people of the target public, or "hearing" from those persons, as well as reading of the news that are around particularly on the Internet media, with official statistics about the programs' results coordenated by CNJ - The National Board of Justice. The purpose is to promote the reflection about the reasons of the maternal incapacity to name her son with his father's name and about the consequences for the quality of the relationship son-mother on the various possibilities of this questions' resolutions. The theme acquire the stature of the muted human drama and the author propose that the society be engaged to argue the letter of the Law/or the action of the judicial institutions that become persecutory because from it emerge evidences of possible adverse effects of the application of the paternity recognition public programs.
