NETO, Esperidião Barbosa. Act and word in the context of ethics Act and non-word on the route of consumption. Vínculo [online]. 2015, vol.12, n.2, pp. 36-43. ISSN 1806-2490.

This article is about the ethic of psychoanalysis in a globalized and consumerist world. Act and word are thought of as inherent in the human, which bond to each other represents the movement of the subject in its constitution. In addition, the exacerbation of consumption compromises the psychic structure. Our goal is to articulate the ethics of psychoanalysis to consumerism of our age, considering the paradox of deceleration in consumption as a risk. From a text enacted in the theater, and a publication about it, we will place the act and the word in the context of psychoanalytic ethics; then observe the risks of exacerbated consumption at the present time and their effects on the psychic structure of the subject; Finally, we will place the ethics on the one hand, and consumerism, on the other, to raise a paradox question: inhibition of consumption can also be a threat to the psychic organization. Our position is that to have, on the path of consumption, is limited to the here and now, as to be, in the context of ethics, is taken place on the subject's time.
