This article is a reflection on the model of the Portuguese School of Group Analysis and possible developments, in particular the progressive contributions of the designated relational psychoanalysis, intersubjective perspective but also from the psychoanalysis of bonds. Central concepts of group analysis are addressed, and at this level, the contribution of Portuguese authors. In this sense they are especially considered the concepts of group analytic matrix, inner matrix, group analytic pattern and group analytic process. The concept of group analytic matrix, subject of an investigation by the author of this article, revealed the importance of this concept to the theory and group analytic technique and in a way they can be weighed some lines of development of the group analytic model. It is understood that the development of a more dialectical relationship, close and active of the group analyst is a promising aspect of the evolution of group analysis.
