Abstract

FERNANDES, Waldemar José. Therapeutic group. We are all in the same boat - uncertain destination. Vínculo [online]. 2017, vol.14, n.2, pp. 35-40. ISSN 1806-2490.

The article discusses the journey between "us and others", which occurs during the work of psychoanalytic research with groups and couples. The themes of uncertainty and narcissism of patients and therapist are addressed, as well as altruism. Such study is based on the author's clinical experience and on reflections on linking psychoanalysis. The basic idea is that patients and group therapists are all in the same boat, and the search of knowledge is an uncertain destination, which causes certain suffering in the group members, bringing the same discomfort to the coordinator due to the vulnerabilities of the group therapist.

Keywords : Group; Linking Psychoanalysis; Uncertainty.
