Abstract

SILVA, Valéria Aparecida da; COIMBRA, Ana Késia Santos  and  YOKOMISO, Celso Takashi. Health of public elementary school teachers and the construction of shared psychic spaces. Vínculo [online]. 2017, vol.14, n.2, pp. 58-69. ISSN 1806-2490.

The teacher's illness has been subject of intense discussions owing to their expositions to factors such as low value of work, problems in school organization, lack of support from public polices and families, among others. In this context, the present research aims to reflect causes of psychic suffering of elementary school teachers, as well strategies to reduce it. For that, interviews were conducted with teachers from the fundamental public school system. The data's analysis was made from Psychoanalysis of Grupo perspective, having as special reference contributions of René Kaes. As a result, it was identified a rupture among the actors of the educational challenge: parents, teachers, managers, and others. Such a panorama leads to teacher isolation, producing a practice marked by the experience of excess and suffering. As a strategy to change this situation, it is suggested the construction of shared psychic spaces, that allow a respectful communication; an identification of difficulties, ruptures and challenges; and an elaboration of meanings for public elementary school teachers activities.
