SILVA, Emily Eunice Dal Prá da; FREITAS, Flávio Braga de; METELSKI, Fernanda Karla  e  MAGRO, Márcia Luiza Pit Dal. Mental health support for community health agents: interactive groups as protected space. Vínculo [online]. 2020, vol.17, n.2, pp. 46-66. Community Health Agents collaborate with National Humanization Policy consolidation, for which issues such as reception, accountability and bonding are fundamental. This imposes psychological demands on these workers and requires actions to support them. This study aimed to understand Interactive Group contributions as Agents' mental health support aiming for humanized care. The methodology used was clinical case study, in the psychoanalytic perspective. The theoretical elaboration of the case indicates that intolerable experiences and unthinkable and repressed personal feelings generated by personal and work experiences that could not be expressed and working-through, emerged unconsciously in the form of acting in, hindering labor relations and people health care. In turn, Interactive Group contributed to the Agents to understand and express their actions, and to re-signify traumatic experiences. It is concluded that the support in mental health made possible by the Interactive Group generated Agents' development, with the potential for humanized care.
