Abstract

LUCRI, Jamile Julia  and  CORDEIRO, Silvia Nogueira. The psychologist in the multiprofessional team: report of experience of an intervention in a group of women in secondary health care. Vínculo [online]. 2020, vol.17, n.2, pp. 141-162. ISSN 1806-2490.  http://dx.doi.org/10.32467/issn.19982-1492v17n2p141-162.

The present study is an experience report about the multiprofessional intervention through a weekly operative group with the women who followed up with physical exercise practice in an Ambulatory of secondary health care. The psychologist and the physical educator coordinated the group and the activities were planned with the purpose of offering a listening space and implicating them in the proposed treatment. It was observed, after 23 meetings, the increase of patients' adherence and the triggering of discussions about self-image and self-knowledge, health-related styles and quality of life, temporalities of life linked to health perception, interpersonal relationships and bond development. The latter was understood as an important aspect to increase adherence to the Exercise Practice Program and to enable a space in which they could talk about difficulties in the experiences involved in the process of illness, and the multiprofessional work capable of promoting a more of the patients.
