ABSTRACT The aim of this article is to present a reflection on the proposal of therapeutic accompaniment (TA) as a favorable space for mental health, focusing mainly on the possibilities from the therapist's perspective on contact with the patient and family environment, both involving significant particularities. Through weekly meetings held in different places, we find that the precariousness of psychological and social resources can be the modus operantis, not just the patient.
