This article has as objective to expose a possible way to do the work of psychology in a case of adoption. An illustrative case was selected, accompanied by this professional from beginning to end: assessment of qualification for adoption, assessment of refugee measurement of children, assessment of elimination of family power, work in preparation and insertion of children in one supportive family and monitoring of the coexistence stage. The intentions can be to share practical techniques that seemingly yield positive results and explain about some understanding of the psychological problems encountered, about the need to prepare them for a new family unit. It is an adoption of the children, brothers, mayors of seven years, by a pair of women. The adoption of older children is unusual and surrounded by middles, but absolutely necessary. It is intended to illustrate the whole country of this important work before the departure of the children at any time, discussing the complications and the delicacies of the case, indicating that the methodology may extend to other cases of adoption.
