GOMES, Ligiane Raimundo  and  DE SA LEITE CHAKUR, Cilene Ribeiro. Children and teenager talk about the lie: contributions for the school context. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2005, vol.6, n.1, pp. 33-43. ISSN 1806-5821.

The morality is a large knowledge spread in the educational scope concerning with the autonomy, according to Piaget's referencials, this autonomy only will be accomplished with the surpass of the heteronomy. This study investigated the development of the lie notion, a content of the morality that is constructed along the development and it is made present inside of the infantile universe. For this, we used the Piaget's clinical method and for analysis of the data we followed the stages found by Piaget for this notion. The results reaffirm a hierarchical sequence of the lie notion. However, there is the predomination of the objective responsibility, in that the lie is evaluated in function of its consequences (punishment, for instance) or of the degree of falseness that its causes, before for the intention of the act of to lie. In conclusion, there is the predomination of the heteronomy moral and we can stand out important considerations for the school context. © Ciências & Cognição 2005; Vol. 06: 33-43.
