Abstract This article shows the problems in the question of the efficacy in formation of the teamwork in the health area. Its purpose is to present the elements which facilitate end restrict an efficacious performance, giving a particular focus to the limits between the approach and articulation of the multi and interdisciplinary working observing the various elements at stake. The sample was restrict to 62 health professionals that integrate multidisciplinarities teams. It was possible to map the components that form these connections through semiconstructed interviews, a participant observation and by a questionary about the objective conditions of the teamwork. © Ciências & Cognição 2006; Vol. 08: 68-87.
