Abstract

DUTRA MAGALHAES, Hilda Gomes; OLIVEIRA DA SILVA, Luíza Helena  and  BATISTA, Dimas José. From the imaginary hero to the political hero. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2007, vol.12, pp. 18-30. ISSN 1806-5821.

Having as principle that the literary art represents the ideological values of one determined group, we want in this article to reflect about the relations between the mass narratives personages profile consumed by the voters and the profile of the political sold / managed by the media during politics campaigns. We observed, using the Discourse Analysis theory, as much in the capitalists societies how much not capitalists, the existence of a media that constructs political heroes. This mystification of the political dimension corresponds symmetrically to the desires and to the protection necessities of voters, lost in a world deprived of basic values. © Ciências & Cognição 2007; Vol. 12: ??-??.
