With the objective of integrate the general pathology traditional teaching to the construction of new educational abilities, and based on the preliminary notes carried out by 350 different health's sciences undergraduate students of the Federal University of Pernambuco, this work point out an adequacy of the education techniques, with the aims of transmit the programmed contents, and of prepare all the graduates to use contextualized knowledge and the abilities acquired in real situations of the professional life. © Ciências & Cognição 2007; Vol. 12: ??-??.
