Abstract

SANCHIS, Isabelle de Paiva  and  MAHFOUD, Miguel. Interaction and construction: the subject and the knowledge in the constructivism of Piaget. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2007, vol.12, pp. 165-177. ISSN 1806-5821.

The constructivism of Piaget treats the knowledge as a construction, from the action of the subject, in an interaction with the object of the knowledge. This article deals with the importance of the interaction, in the theory of Piaget, not only for the construction of the knowledge, but also for the constitution and construction of the subject. The constructivists concepts related to the general mechanisms of functioning of intelligence are analyzed, through which the notions of interaction and construction can be defined; and concepts of the last workmanships of Piaget are alluded, with the objective to show the permanence of the importance of the action, in a interaction, in his whole work. © Ciências & Cognição 2007; Vol. 12: ??-??.
