Abstract

This paper objectives to present a study on the importance of the cohesion and the coherence in the construction of the progressive of the text, taking as model the cognitve process that both need to exert the basic paper of linguistic present elements in the literal surface, that if they estabilish connection and if they interconnect, by means of also linguistic resources, in order to form one text in the context where they are inserted. Using the estimated theoreticians of the Linguistic and the bedding of the cognitivistes authors, I will observe the development of the cognitives models that justify them, providing the direction continuity. © Ciências & Cognição 2007; Vol. 12: ??-??.
