Abstract Conceptions essentially intellectual under what most of the courses of formation of teachers are based do not seem to lead to the fact that teachers are subjects with subjectivities, that is, individuals who come to produce senses in their processes of learning and teaching. This limited perspective has not become quite a support to changes in knowledge, practices and positions in the classroom. The aim of this work is to present the Sandplay, a technique that can contribute to the formation of teachers, since it makes it possible to visualize the complex and indirect form under what indices of subjectivity appears.
