This academic essay intends to contribute to identify the structural concepts of biosafety, and question about the importance of these concepts to teach biosafety discipline. The study suggests the possibility, through such concepts, to facilitate the teaching-learning process of biosafety, presenting the students, connections and overlaps in this area of knowledge, helping then to understand its meanings in a harmonic and articulated away
