This work presents an adaptation of Social Physique Anxiety Scale (SPAS) to brazilian context. 309 universitary students asked a SPAS in classroom situation and a socio-demographic questionnaire, most of them was women (57%) and age between 17 and 56 years old (Mean = 25,47; SD = 7,86). The principal results discuss the three SPAS validation model (three factors, two factors and unifactorial) and the analysis of magnitude levels of social physique anxiety (SPA) in terms of socio-demographic variables. Was discover that the unifactorial model is the most adequate in detriment of others models and the women has higher levels of SPA
