The word creativity is used to describe certain behaviors of the person or group, and is usually associated with artistic expression and technological innovation. Analyze the creativity allows to understand the factors that influence the emergence of creative behavior Definitions, criteria and mechanisms associated to the causes and outcomes of creativity and creative behavior are presented The elements and processes associated with creativity are initially characterized by the traditional concepts are then related to the theory biology of knowledge. From this relationship it is possible to find additional grounds and more detailed explanations for definitions, criteria and mechanisms associated with creativity and understand creativity under concepts that complement it´s traditional definition
