Abstract

This article presents bibliographic informations related to a new educational research paradigm, which foresees the integration of findings in neurosciences and the need of identifying the best ways of teaching, to improve learning. The basis of this interdisciplinary field provides a scientific character to the educational research, establishing a theoretical and methodological framework to evaluate the best pedagogic practices. In addition, it contex-tualizes ideas and products focused on this area, carried out in the last few years by a group of researchers from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul and other universities, which suggest this new field can also delimit the development and research on the utilization of edu-cational products, especially computerized technology, as multimedia, videos and integrated projects of multiple resources and functions. © Cien.
