Abstract

ARAUJO DOMINGOS, Diane Cristina  and  PIAZZA RECENA, Maria Celina. Development of didactic games in the process of teaching and learning of chemistry: the construction of the knowledge. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2010, vol.15, n.1, pp. 272-281. ISSN 1806-5821.

Nowadays, the playful approach in chemistry teaching through educational games has been very used as a pedagogic tool. In that sense, we have developed a survey with high school students from a public school in Dourados-MS, with the objective of evaluating the influence of didactic games planning and elaboration in the construction of scientific knowledge on topics of organic chemistry, specifically oxygenated and nitrogenated functions. The process was considered as a building object of the chemistry knowledge in a constructivist vision, leaning in Piaget's ideas. It was a qualitative investigation that used as instruments of gathering data the observation and video recording of the classes in where it were developed the activities and of the produced materials, being analyzed the interaction between subject and object. It was concluded that there was the opportunity, for the students, of restructuring of the assimilation outlines and accommodation in the teaching and learning process enabling the construction on the knowledge in chemistry. © Cien.
