Abstract In the "Science to the Bones Project" we aim to contribute to the development of strategies of popularization of science, particularly in the Biological Anthropology area. In this article we present a retrospective analysis from three years of pedagogic activities, during the celebration of the National Museum/UFRJ anniversary. These actions were directed to a varied public profile, including children and adults individuals. In each one of those events, the institution - departments and laboratories - promotes, during three days, development and presentation of several activities to the general public. Thus, in this moment a retrospective analysis of the results of these actions is essential, considering successes and challenges to the future, especially focused on the popularization of the Biological Anthropology studies and researches. © Cien.
