Abstract

UZUN DE FREITAS, Maria Luisa de Lara. The symbolic game evolution in the child. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2010, vol.15, n.3, pp. 145-163. ISSN 1806-5821.

Based on Jean Piaget's theory, the author presents the representation behavior of the symbolic function, and specifically regarding t.  the symbolic game evolution observed in her psycho-pedagogical clinical work with a child aged between 5y 10m and 6y 8m. The results showed that the child felt comfortable to express himself through the symbolic game, which permitted his classification and analysis. It was possible to verify how the child got closed to the real as the symbolism lost its ludic distortional character, and got closer to a simple reality imitative representation, which makes the socialization process easier. © Cien.
