Abstract

STRACK, Ricardo  and  DEL PINO, José Cláudio. On the paradigms surrounding teaching and researching. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2012, vol.17, n.1, pp. 130-151. ISSN 1806-5821.

Knowledge that is articulated through university graduation activities constitutes a part of the spectrum of items that should be taken into consideration when discussing the formation of scientists. It should not be left out the role conceptions, whether explicit or implicit, perform both about the scientists' activities and the appreciation itself of the function performed by scientific knowledge throughout society. From the emphasis given by Thomas S. Kuhn, it was sought to understand the role of knowledge dynamics not at the individual level, but at the level of what occurs in groups, from where the expectation of an observation of the consensus variations during the formation process arose. Currently, the social epistemic significance of the existence of differentiations in the perceptions between teaching and researching is being thought over. © Cien. Cogn. 2012; Vol. 17 (1): 130-151.
