Abstract

C. BOCCHI, Josiane  and  MANZONI-DE-ALMEIDA, Daniel. From the divan to neuropsychoanalysis:: some clinical cases in the light of the Freudian theory. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2013, vol.18, n.1, pp. 57-69. ISSN 1806-5821.

Abstract Among the main issues addressed to the contemporary psychoanalysis, a great part of the themes concerns the role of psychoanalysis face to neurosciences and also to the increasing presence of psychodynamic concepts trenched on neurobiological models about the mind and the brain. There is a profusion of scientific articles that rely on neuroimaging in order to propose approaches among classical freudian concepts with some empirical outcomes. An amount of researches even indicate the junction of these two fields and as a consequence, that has raised some polemics. This article discusses the apparence of neuropsychoanalysis and also reverberates what it represents in this current debate. To draft an initial reflexion about the aim of this approach, it is reported some of the clinical procedures associated with the psychanalytical method of the investigation of the unconscious. © Cien.
