METHOD: integrative review of articles published in electronic databases MEDLINE by means of Pubmed, SCOPUS, CINAHAL, PsycINFO and LILACS between 2012 and 2016. RESULTS: 37 studies were analyzed. They identified several risk factors associated with the occurrence of depression in pregnancy. The most relevant risk factors were: sociodemographic and economic factors; obstetric/maternal; psychic and psychosocial.
