Abstract

The contributions of Gestalt therapy has allowed reframing of the psychologist in several areas, including the Work & Organizational Psychology , as it allows us to moderate the focus on performance and health of the individual worker, calling social processes , organizational and interpersonal equally important to take a position on the understanding of the intervention process. This article aims , first of all , to promote a discussion / reflection on the theory and practice of Gestalt therapy in work organizations . Then a methodology of action on demand diagnostic / organizational intervention to promote the health of workers is proposed . Finally , it is concluded that the challenge facing the psychologist in organizations is to flee interpretations on the performance and health of people and the functioning of the organization , to build shared meanings that allow the change in relations between the forces acting on this field.
