This study aims to identify the profile, predominantly of clients seeking psychological care in social clinic of Institute of Gestalt-Therapy and Family Care. For this, we analyzed a sample of the markings of the first interviews scheduled for the psychologists of the tenth class of the Specialization Course in Clinical Psychology - Gestalt-Therapy (Individual, Group and Family). This sample is comprised between September 2009 and April 2011. Method was used as the theoretical and experiential based in gestalt therapy, bibliography of texts produced from research in clinical and social-clinical school and documentary research reports in the database of IGT. Based on the records found were quantified information on gender, age, referrals and modalities of assistance, the amount stipulated by the client for each therapy session and the waiting time between the first interview and the start of treatment. From the analysis undertaken was possible to identify the profile of clinical social point of IGT and still scope for improvement in the service provided.
