This article is a reflection on first individual attending sessions in the Social Clinics of the Institute of Gestalt Therapy and Familiar Care in Rio de Janeiro, using the phenomenological method of AmedeoGiorgi. It describes the therapist-client relational experience in terms of bond formation, giving priority to the therapist’s point-of-view. The relationship between a psychologist and two clients was used as sample. The results express the articulation of the essential experience constituents, as felt by the participants
