This paper aims to propose a theoretical discussion about the conflict in the relationship between parents and teens understand what aspects that hinder this relationship, when conflicts arise and what creative adjustments used. Conceptions of adolescence are presented, key concepts, health and disease in relation to Gestalt therapy and the relationship between parents and children in sight of Gestalt therapy. The teenagers and their parents in this time of transformation undergo fluctuations which consist of acceptance and denial in the face of physical and psychological changes. It is a confused and ambivalent phase, marked by conflicts, which will require parents and adolescents new positions.
