Resumen

OLIVEIRA, Jeane Franco de  y  VIEIRA, Érico Douglas. Reflections on the therapeutic relationship: perspectives of gestalt therapy and psychodrama. IGT rede [online]. 2015, vol.12, n.22, pp. 92-110. ISSN 1807-2526.

The integration movement has as its essence the development and the search for alternative ways to conceptualize and conduct psychotherapy, with a look at the contributions of other schools. Many studies indicate that the efficacy of psychotherapy depends more on the therapeutic relationship than the approach of the therapist. The objective of this work is to observe the common and specific factors of Psychodrama and Gestalt therapy on the therapeutic relationship. Gestalt therapy is the therapy of contact and considers that the relational is the solid foundation for the transformation of the client. Psychodrama proposes that the meeting between therapist and client is marked by the ability of the therapist to be moved by the client's drama. The two orientations value human encounter in psychotherapy process and believe that the therapeutic relationship should transcend a purely technical relationship. Specific aspects of each approach may bring more elaborate constructions of some aspects that may be lacking in the single approach. When the therapist examines the contributions of other schools, there may be an expansion of the possibilities of establishing a good help relationship.

Palabras clave : Gestalt therapy; Psychodrama; Therapeutic relationship; Integration in Psychotherapy.
