The Therapeutic Residence service arises in Brazil aimed at comprehensive care to individuals with mental disorders prioritizing social inclusion of these individuals. This paper investigates how the Therapeutic Residences contribute to the integration of individuals with mental disorders in the community context to which they belong. Through the theoretical contribution of authors such as: Barcelar (2006) Scarcelli (2002), Alves (2005) and others that address the theme it can be said that partnerships are critical to the success of psychosocial rehabilitation process carried out from the Therapeutic Residences . The integration of practice and knowledge is critical to the development and quality of life of residents.
