The objective of this article is to divide my experiences as a psychologist inserted in hemodialysis units, as a student of the Specialization Course in Clinical Psychology - Gestalt-Therapy (Individual, Group and Family) held at IGT - Gestalt Therapy and Family Care Institute. One of the relevance of this work is the scarcity of bibliography of Gestalt-Therapy anchored psychologists inserted in the clinic of patients who have chronic kidney disease. The purpose of this proposal is to contribute to the reflection and clinical practice of other gestalt-therapist psychologists who have concerns and uncertainties regarding the care given at the hemodialysis health unit, whose patients are obliged to have a regular treatment for many years with Worsening of their health and quality of life. We emphasize concepts of the Gestalt Approach, which help in understanding the possible contributions of Gestalt therapy in this: Contact, Therapeutic Relationship, Here and Now, and Experiment. The experience of these concepts, with the patients in the day to day of a Clinic of hemodialysis, are the most challenging, for this reason, the choice of the same ones.
