Abstract

In this article, theoretical aspects of Integrated Community Therapy and Gestalt-Therapy will be presented with the aim of holding a dialogue among these theories, correlating concepts and proposing a contribution from the Gestalt-Therapy to the Integrated Community Therapy. The contributions from the Gestalt-Therapy to the Integrated Community Therapy aims to strengthen the effects of the Integrated Community Therapy research meetings, if the described proposals are inserted in the development of the meetings. Some research meetings of Integrated Community Therapy also present observations, which occurred in Rio de Janeiro city, with participant’s verbalizations who corroborate the similarities among the theories and the possible situations in which the Gestalt-Therapy may enter the research meetings as a resource.
